On a working visit to Senegal, Madi Sakandé, President of U-3ARC, took advantage of his visit to the capital, Dakar, to meet with members of Executive Board of RENAFF (National Network of Women Refrigeration Engineers of Senegal) on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Women Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians (RAC), united within RENAFF (National Network of Women Refrigeration Engineers), welcomed a distinguished guest in Dakar on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. President Madi Sakandé made sure to meet with these valiant women who intend to promote their profession and widely disseminate the near-vital importance of their sector for socioeconomic development. In his opinion, such a meeting served to encourage, congratulate, and support them in their efforts to promote the refrigeration and air conditioning sector in Senegal.
At their head, RENAFF President, Mrs. Sokhna Fall Diawara, with Vice president Mrs Maye Sène, Treasurer, Mrs Wahrata Sokhna, and Mrs Marème Ndiaye and Seynabou Ndiaye, Members, expressed her welcome in the pure tradition of Senegalese Teranga. Alongside the other members of the Executive Committee, she and Mr. Madi Sakandé discussed ways and means to boost the profession and further position it in the ranks it deserves. It should be noted that RENAFF has more than 200 members committed to the development of the refrigeration and air conditioning sector in Senegal.
We are confident that the dynamism of the women in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector will serve as a true emulation for their male counterparts, helping to elevate the essential refrigeration and air conditioning sector to its rightful place in the quest for food sovereignty.
