ALIOUA Award 2025 - Competition kicks off soon

U-3ARC is launching a new competition, called the ALIOUA AWARD, reserved for African refrigeration technicians men. This highly stimulating award, scheduled to kick off on June 15, 2025, will help raise the level of the profession, the trades, and cohesion within the corporation.

Like the Dr. Charity Kpabep Award, reserved for African female refrigeration technicians, U-3ARC and its partners are launching the ALIOUA AWARD. "The ALIOUA Award 2025 is for you, African refrigeration technicians men! Find a teammate from another country, and good luck!!!" U-3ARC President Madi Sakandé urged his peers and presidents of national associations on the continent to participate. He then invited those interested in participating in the competition to join the WhatsApp group: chat.whatsapp.com/HmjIJn4W14PB8yQl3MQ7Za to find a teammate and asked them to share it with their members.

The ALIOUA Prize, which will be competed in tandem, carries a prize of €1,000 per team. The two participants, from two different African countries, will receive a Trophy and a Certificate of Appreciation at the end of the competition—it depends. The lucky winners will also receive a completely free trip to Ouagadougou for the U-3ARC General Assembly, scheduled for November 2025.

Get your gear and cameras ready!

In a short video clip, the competitors will present a practical activity on RECOVERY, EMPTY FIRING, and RECHARGING. The initial deadline for submitting videos is June 15, 2025, on the page https://www.facebook.com/U3ARC. The deadline is August 31, 2025, at midnight, the strict deadline.

The reactions are already multiplying. For example, this message comes from AMARC Mali: "Hello everyone. This is a message from the Malian national association AMARC. We are looking for a technician who speaks English, Arabic, or Portuguese to participate with our compatriot Aboubacar Diakité in the men's competition, dedicated to Mr. Alioua Redouane."
